Chic in stainless steel and beige exterior and capacity options of 5.5 or 10 cups, Tiger's JKT-B series offers the advanced cooking functions necessary for any modern-age kitchen. The micom (microcomputer) technology of the model oversees the cooking process with the use of a microcomputer chip which is placed inside the cooker. This chip is programmed with all the menu settings and functions, so it can adapt to the different power and cooking time necessary for the different menu options.
The Induction Heating (IH) system enables the JKT-B to cook with precise temperature adjustments in a short time span by creating an all-around heating inside the inner pan. More specifically, the inner pan of the cooker becomes the heat source which in return makes it possible to cook fluffy, sweet and evenly cooked rice every time. To further the functionality of the model, the JKT-B comes with two pre-set cooking timers to adjust the cooking time. This feature, unlike the one push operating rice cooker, enables the user to make rice in the form desired which prove especially handy when it comes to changing the texture of the rice.
There are 8 computerized cooking menu settings to choose from with the JKT-B series which makes this advanced model from Tiger the perfect cooker to fit just about any type of rice. The settings Plain, Ultra, or Quick deliver the ideal white rice. The Quick mode will cook rice at the shortest time while the new Ultra setting will bring out its maximum sweetness, flavour, and stickiness. Other options include Mixed rice, Jasmine rice, Brown rice, Porridge, and Oatmeal.
The 3 layer metal inner pan is a high quality 1.5 millimetre thick inner pan which can heat the rice up to 265° F and steam at a high temperature of 240° F further ensuring the rice cooked is always tasty and has the ideal and even texture to bring out all the flavours of the ingredients.
