Dr. Jolene Sun
Dr. Jolene Sun was born in South Africa, and raised in Vancouver, BC. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Portland, Oregon in 2011.
Dr. Sun currently sees patients at our Park Royal clinic and is able to conduct comprehensive eye examinations in both English and Cantonese. Additionally, Dr. Sun serves on the continuing education committee for the BC Association of Optometrists. She also enjoys travelling when she can, and time spent outdoors hiking.
Dr. Mark Aginsky, Owner/Partner, Optical London Drugs
Dr. Mark Aginsky, a Cape Town, South Africa-born optometrist, collected optometric degrees in South Africa, England and the United States before settling in the Pacific Northwest in 2000. An adjunct professor at Oregon’s Pacific State University, Dr. Aginsky attends patients from his business in Bellingham, Washington, as well as overseeing the operations of Optical London Drugs.
When he’s not busy with his professional life, you’ll find Dr. Mark zipping along Bellingham’s bike paths and kayaking on Lake Whatcom with his wife and four children.
Dr. Helen Lee
Dr. Helen Lee, a Vancouverite born in Seoul, South Korea, received her optometry degree in Boston after a Bachelor of Sciences in Life Sciences at the University of British Columbia. She returned home to Vancouver in 2018, and now examines patients’ eyes at various Optical London Drugs locations. Aside from optometry, Dr. Helen enjoys hiking, singing, watching movies, and travelling!
Dr. Rohit Sachdeva
Dr. Rohit Sachdeva was born and raised in India, and relocated to Canada in 2002, where he has lived ever since. He attended Simon Fraser University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2009. Afterwards, he attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2014.
Dr. Sachdeva is able to provide eye examinations in Hindi and Punjabi. Additionally, Dr. Sachdeva is fully committed to providing the best eye care for his patients, and takes special interest in pediatric eye exams.
Dr. Edward Hsieh
Dr. Edward Hsieh graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry in 2016, after completing his undergraduate studies at Simon Fraser University. During his internship rotations, he expanded his clinical focus in specialty contact lens fitting; pediatric and geriatric eye care; low vision rehabilitation; and primary eye care.
Dr. Hsieh enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has special clinical interest in specialty contact lens fitting, myopia control, and management of ocular disease. During Dr. Hsieh’s down time, you can find him enjoying his favourite hobbies like running, hiking, playing the trumpet, or cheering on his favourite sports teams – the Vancouver Canucks and Seattle Mariners.
Dr. Eugene Wong
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver, BC, Dr. Eugene Wong graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree before pursuing a career in optometry. After working and studying at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Kirk Eye Center in Chicago, Illinois, he obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University in Philadelphia. Since then, he has brought his skill-set and clinical experience to the West Broadway Optical London Drugs, where he regularly offers routine eye exams, ocular disease diagnosis & treatment, co-management of refractive surgeries and contact lens fittings to his patients in both English and Cantonese.
