Roam Mobility Breeze Travel Phone with Sim Card - Black - BREEZE is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate - not stellar I bought the camera for a recent to NYC, intending to connect with family members when we became separated. It was on sale when I purchased it, so was a good deal. What was most significant for me - and the reason I actually purchased this model - was that I could insert the SIM card which came with it, and set up a plan prior for travelling to the US. I didn't want to have to wait until I arrived in the US to do this, as was the case with every other cheap travel phone I looked at. Upsides: quick and easy to set up; effective for texting (once I figured out how to place numbers in the directory - no easy feat); and the phone was fine. For those features, the screen icons were evident and the functions, easy to access. I didn't use it that often, but when I did, connections were fine. Downsides: features were not intuitive, taking lots of trial-and-error time and confusion to set them up; as another reviewer commented, very loud audio signals (turned it on in a subway, and all eyes darted my way!); the only other feature I would have used was the camera, but darned if I could find any indicator that it existed. There is no icon on the phone's screen, nor is there any reference in the tiny manual which comes with it, nor is there a reference, online, when describing the features ... but there is camera viewer on the back, so it must be in there somewhere. To this day, I cannot find it. So, it fit the bill for its intended purpose, but it's not a phone I would want to use on a regular basis.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for On the surface this seemed like a great deal - low price for an unlocked phone that can hold a Canadian and US Sim card, and a plan well-suited for travel to the US. Sure, not a lot of features, but how much do you want in a burner? I tried it out in the Pittsburgh area and here in Canada (with a 7-11 sim and some extra memory). Setup was easy, but pick-up range is surprisingly poor, and on the T-mobile network (the primary default) there seemed to be many dropped calls and connection glitches. The network was often busy. Audio was not great, and ringer volumes only selected between loud and super loud. Compared to other inexpensive phones I've used, the features seemed very sparse indeed- no actual option to access the camera, nothing showing signal strength, incomplete manual, non-intuitive menus, etc. You can actually use this phone, but that's about all that I can say about it.
