Metro: Last Light features a story-driven journey set in a post apocalyptic Moscow. Through the eyes of Artyom, who lived most of his life in the dark tunnels of the metro, you experience the claustrophobic atmosphere and hostile environments.
Every bullet counts, as it is both the key to your survival and the currency. So pick your fights well or use the stealth system to move unnoticed through the shadows to avoid humans and dangerous mutants. You chose if the dark is your best friend or your worst enemy as civil war breaks out between communists and nazis over control of the metro stations.
Luckily you can modify your weaponry along the way by finding different parts to build your personal and unique firearms. But not even weapons can help you when facing the toxic environment of Moscow, where human life would be impossible without gas masks and replace filters.
In order to survive you will need to fight with every last bullet, breath and flicker of light.
It is the year 2034.
Beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro, the remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats from outside – and within. Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the desolate surface, and hunt amidst the poisoned skies above.
But rather than stand united, the station-cities of the Metro are locked in a struggle for the ultimate power, a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. A civil war is stirring that could wipe humanity from the face of the earth forever.
As Artyom, burdened by guilt but driven by hope, you hold the key to our survival – the last light in our darkest hour...
