GoPro Fetch Dog Harness - GP-ADOGM-001 is rated out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by GoProPup from Great idea, bad execution Verdict: Wait for a better version to come out. Only purchase if you are willing to tinker with harness, or only use it for light use. Good: Great viewing platform, fun way to take video, dog doesn't mind the camera. Using GoPro App to get dog's viewpoint. Great for dogs that aren't runners. Bad: Poor harness design, front straps awkward around dog's front legs, straps made of stretchy material often loosen. Pricey harness. Very shaky view when dogs are running. Full Info: I have a 75lbs deep chested German Shepherd that is used to wearing a harness. Using the harness as designed, she walks funny as the straps hit her awkwardly in the arm pits. May work better with square framed dogs like labs, or bulldogs. I've use the harness in the back yard, going for a walk to get used to the harness and at a local dog park, all in all approximately an hour and a half of the dog in the harness with the camera. I have only used the back mount and not the chest mount due to problems in design of harness and how it hits my dog's front legs. Harness tends to come loose under motion, and stretchy straps do not help things stay in place. I am working on adapting the GoPro fetch harness to use with my proper Julius K9 Harness. In the end I think I will be replacing the straps and adding some mounts to my Julius Harness that allows the GoPro fetch to be attached to it.
