The NasaFlo™ Neti Pot
The practice of cleansing the nasal passages, known as Neti, has been used by practitioners of Ayurvedic medicine and yoga in India for thousands of years. Neti is one of the six purification techniques performed prior to practising yoga and was recently endorsed by “Dr. Oz” on the Oprah Winfrey show as an effective means of clearing sinus congestion when used with a natural saline solution.
NasaFlo™ Neti Pot comes with 50 packets of a precisely measured mixture of USP grade (99.9 percent pure), preservative-free sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate mixture. Adding one packet of this patented mixture to 240 ml (8 oz or one cup) of lukewarm water, provides a non-burning, soothing therapeutic solution that gently washes the nasal passages. The device allows for a smooth gravity flow that does not create any pressure in the nasal passage, ears or sinuses. The package also contains an extensively illustrated, educational brochure on nasal and sinus conditions, written by Dr. Ketan Mehta, who practises pulmonary and critical care medicine and is a noted developer of patented nasal irrigation systems.
