The Sidekick™ Testing System is very easy to use. You simply remove a test strip from the vial, insert it into the testing port at the top of the meter, and test. When you're out of test strips, or upon the expiration date, simply discard the unit. The system includes 50 testing strips.

The Sidekick™ Testing System does not require coding as the built-in meter has already been coded for the test strips included in the vial. All that is needed is a tiny blood sample, resulting in less pain. After inserting the test strip and pressing the side button, the easy-to-read result appears in less than ten seconds.

The memory feature stores up to 50 readings that may be easily reviewed by pressing and holding the side button.

A Gentler Delivery System

The Novopen®4 has been designed to simplify insulin therapy. This easy-to-use delivery system can provide doses from one to 60 units, in increments of one unit.

In several comparisons of insulin regimens utilizing NovoPen® devices versus conventional syringes, close to three-quarters of the patients questioned considered the NovoPen® device easier, more convenient and quicker than conventional insulin therapy.

Special features of the Novopen®4 include a three-times-larger scale for easier reading and accurate dose setting; a 50 percent lower force required to inject; a shorter push button for better control of insulin delivery, and an end-of-use click, confirming that insulin has been delivered. The Novopen®4 comes in two colours, blue and silver, allowing you to have a different colour pen for each type of insulin you use.

NovoPen®4 is designed to be used with NovoFine® needles. These needles have “Thin Wall Technology” which improves insulin flow for a more comfortable injection. The new NovoFine® 32G Tip, 6 mm needle is the thinnest needle available, and is the perfect “finishing touch” to diabetes care.
