Bring in your old, expired, or soon-to-expire medications and we will safely dispose of them for you. In return, you will receive a passbook containing coupons to purchase the cough and cold products you and your loved ones may need before the season for winter ills arrives.
Ensuring your medicine cabinet is up-to-date is an important part of keeping yourself and your family safe and well. Ideally, you should complete a thorough check of your medicine cabinet at least once a year.
Be sure to remove prescription and non-prescription drugs/medications that have expired and make sure you store them safely before bringing them to the pharmacy. Never throw drugs in the trash or flush them down the toilet. Medications that have been thrown in the garbage can be found and ingested by children or pets. When flushed down the toilet, drugs can end up in lakes, rivers, streams and - eventually - drinking water. Drinking water contaminated by even minimal quantities of medications can pose long-term health risks.
