RICHMOND, BC – Hundreds of women across Western Canada entered the Are You the London Drugs Pure Girl? contest during its run from April 15th to August 31st, 2008. After reviewing every entry package, a jury selected Vernon resident Marlo Ovington as the winner of the contest.

“London Drugs and Pure Cosmetics are excited to announce Marlo Ovington as the winner of the Are You the London Drugs Pure Girl? contest,” said John Tse, London Drugs vice president of Cosmetics. 

The Vernon resident will receive $2,500.00 Canadian spending money for her seven day trip to Barcelona, Spain for two, home of PURE Cosmetics, which includes a professional photo shoot, the opportunity to name a new PURE Lipstick and a $500.00 basket of PURE Cosmetics. One photo from the Barcelona photo shoot will be chosen for an upcoming edition of the London Drugs EnerG magazine distributed throughout every London Drugs.

“It is such an honour to be chosen as the new face of Pure Cosmetics for London Drugs,” said contest winner Marlo Ovington. “I am so excited to go to Barcelona and have a professional photo shoo while I am there as this is such a once in a lifetime opportunity.”

Marlo will be departing for Spain on February 12th where she will enjoy a seven day trip in Barcelona and a professional photo shoot with PURE Cosmetics. Once she returns to Canada images will be selected for PURE Cosmetics and London Drugs use.
