1. To enter, print your name, address, telephone number, age and answer the skill-testing question by hand on an official entry form (hand drawn facsimiles, mechanically, technologically or photographically reproduced entry forms will not be accepted). Deposit your entry in the official ballot box at the Customer Service Desk of any London Drugs store.

2. No purchase necessary. Limit 1 prize may be won per household. Enter as often as you wish, provided each entry is deposited during a separate visit to London Drugs. Entries must be deposited in the ballot box no later than store closing on the contest closing date of Thursday, December 24, 2009. London Drugs is not responsible for entries that become lost, damaged or misdirected. All entries become the property of London Drugs and will not be returned.

3. A valid receipt will be required at time of prize draw. A receipt may contain more than one item but only one receipt will be accepted for the total prize amount.

4. To enter without purchase, print your name, address, telephone number, age and answer the skill-testing question by hand on an official entry form (hand drawn facsimiles, mechanically, technologically or photographically reproduced entry forms will not be accepted) and securely attach a handwritten paragraph of at least 25 words explaining why you like buying Christmas gifts at London Drugs. Deposit your entry in the official ballot box at the Customer Service Desk of any London Drugs store.

5. Contest is open to all residents of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba (i) who have not won a London Drugs contest since December 24, 2008; (ii) who have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside as of November 21, 2009; (iii) who are not employees of London Drugs or its advertising and promotional agencies or any family member living with any such employee. The chances of winning a prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6. A random draw will be made on January 19, 2010 in Richmond, British Columbia, from all eligible entries received. To win, selected entrants must have correctly answered the skill-testing question on the entry form, and must sign London Drugs’ standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded, releasing London Drugs from liability in association with the contest and prize.

7. There will be one prize of a London Drugs Gift Card awarded from all entries received in each of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba (1 winner from each province; 4 winners total). The selected entrants will be required to produce their purchase receipt made at London Drugs between November 21, 2009 to December 24, 2009, for prize fulfilment. The value of each gift card prize awarded will be equal to the value of the receipt produced by the selected entrant, up to the maximum amount of $1,000.00. In the case of a no purchase entry being selected or if the selected entrant is not able to produce a valid receipt, then the prize awarded will be a $100.00 London Drugs Gift Card. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable, are not redeemable for cash and no substitutions are permitted.

8. Selected entrants will be contacted by telephone. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants.

9. Decisions of the judges in respect of all aspects of this contest, including but not limited to eligibility of entries and correctness of answers given to the skill testing question are final. London Drugs and its advertising and promotional agencies are not liable to an entrant in any manner relating to the contest or the awarding and use of the prizes.

10. This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws & regulations. By entering, the entrant consents to the collection of all information forming part of the contest entry and agrees to the use and disclosure of such information by London Drugs and their advertising and promotional agencies to administer this contest and for purposes of advertising and promotion. The winner also agrees to the use of their name, photograph, voice and statements for London Drugs’ publicity purposes without further compensation.
