London Drugs Supports the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre with a Food Drive on Saturday, February 20th

SASKATOON, SK, FEBRUARY 9th, 2010 – London Drugs proudly supports the Saskatoon Food Bank with a one-day food drive on Saturday, February 20th from noon to 4:00 p.m. Volunteers from the Saskatoon Food Bank will be at the London Drugs located at 2323 8th Street to collect donations from individuals wishing to give to the organization.
“The Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre are very excited to partner with London Drugs for the Food Drive,” said Paul Merriman CEO of the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre. “London Drugs is keeping the giving sprit alive after the holiday season to help those in need in our community.”
Premade food packages will be available for sale to donate to the food bank to use in their hamper program. The Saskatoon Food Bank’s hamper pickup program has been increasing in past years with now more than 11,000 users each month, half of which are children.
