JDRF "Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes"
To all London Drugs staff, family and friends who participated in the “Walks” (May through Sept),
I am delighted to announce the results of our fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. London Drugs has raised a grand total of $43,809.65. This year ALL stores participated by selling the JDRF key chains. As well, 91% of our stores participated in the “Walks”. WOW!
Special Mention goes to # 47 Maple Ridge for raising $2,327.20, Head Office for $2,116.00 and #3 New Westminster for $1,991.00.
Everyone’s hard work and commitment is hugely appreciated by the families and those living with Type 1 Diabetes.
