Contest Official Rules
1. To enter, print your name, address, telephone number, age and answer to the skill testing question by hand on an official entry form and deposit your entry in the ballot box at the Customer Service Counter of any Vancouver London Drugs store. Official entry forms are available at London Drugs’ 10 Vancouver stores.
2. No purchase necessary. Limit one (1) entry per person per day. Entries must be deposited in an official ballot box by no later than the contest closing date of Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at store closing time. London Drugs is not responsible for entries that become lost, damaged or misdirected. All entries become the property of London Drugs and will not be returned.
3. Contest is open to all residents of British Columbia (i) who have not won a London Drugs contest since July 24, 2009; (ii) who have reached the age of majority in British Columbia; (iii) who are not employees of London Drugs and employees of their advertising and promotional agencies, and persons with whom they are domiciled.
4. A random draw will be made on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at each of London Drugs’ Vancouver stores from all eligible entries received. To win, selected entrants must correctly answer a skill-testing mathematical question and sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded. The chances of winning a prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
5. For each store, there will be one (1) First Prize and two (2) Second Prizes awarded. First Prize consists of two (2) VIP Boathouse Dinner and English Bay Bathhouse Reserved Seating Passes for the Spain Night fireworks on July 24, 2010. Approximate retail value of each First Prize is $250.00. Second Prize consists of two (2) VIP English Bay Bathhouse Reserved Seating Passes for the Spain Night fireworks. The Second Prize has no retail value. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable and no substitutions are permitted.
6. Only one prize awarded per household. Only one prize may be won by any person and in the event that more than one eligible entry in the name of the same person is drawn, the second such and all subsequent such entries shall be discarded.
7. Selected entrants will be contacted by phone and must reply within 24 hours of they will forfeit their prize to another contestant. No correspondence will be entered into except with the winners, who will be notified by telephone. Winners will be required to pick up their prize from the Vancouver London Drugs store that has awarded the prize by 11:00am on Saturday, July 24, 2010, or the prize will be forfeited.
8. Decisions of the judges in respect of all aspects of this contest, including but not limited to eligibility of entries and correctness of answers given to the skill-testing question are final. London Drugs Limited, their advertising and promotional agencies and their respective agents will be free from liability associated with the contest.
9. This contest is subject to all federal, provincial, municipal laws & regulations. By entering, the winners agree to the use of their names, and photographs for sponsor’s publicity purposes without compensation.
